Your instructor
In this course, Michelle Lyons brings to the table a wealth of experience and a passion for perinatal pelvic health, with a rich background stemming from her Physiotherapy degree acquired from University College Dublin in 1994. Her expansive knowledge is further augmented by postgraduate credentials in Health Coaching & Nutrition from the University of Galway, and a niche expertise in Integrative Herbal Medicine from the University of Arizona. An avid believer in the whole woman biopsychosocial approach, she is also trained in Pilates, Yoga, and Mindfulness as therapeutic interventions. Licensed as a Physical Therapist in Connecticut, Michelle's extensive career has been marked by her global teaching, presenting & consultations, making her a sought-after authority in the field.
As an educator, she has been teaching faculty & programme development with leading continuing education bodies such as Pelvic Obstetric & Gynaecological Physiotherapy Association, Herman & Wallace, Pelvic Health Solutions, Medbridge Education & the European School of Oncology, sharing her insights at international forums like the International Continence Society and the International Uro-Gynaecological Society, as well as IPPS, CSM, the PHS Symposium, The POGP conference, Therapy Expo, Pelvicon and more. Her involvement with pinnacle events in pelvic health around the world showcases her dedication to enhancing professional standards and influencing the landscape of women's health.
